Welcome to 5 on Friday, a little list of things I’m enjoying lately. I got this idea from Tim Ferris who sends out his 5 Bullet Friday posts to all his email subscribers and Laura Tremaine’s Secret Posts. If you’re interested you can check out Tim’s website at Tim.blog and Laura’s at 10thingstotellyou.com . I thought it would be fun to do a short and simple posts of things I’m enjoying lately. Every week you’ll find different content…could be books I’m reading, movies, tv, recipes, quotes, articles, household items etc….anything I’m enjoying to pass along in the hope that you might also find something you’d like.

Summer Thriller Hyped By Bustle That I’ve Added to the Top of My Summer Must Read List
The Van Apfel Girls Are Gone I love the sound of this missing children/coming-of-age thriller. Set in Australia, it involves the disappearance of 3 sisters at the same time. Intriguing. Releases June 25 by Algonquin

A Small but Great Invention I’m Loving
Every Drop Lip Spatula This is exactly what it sounds like, a little rubber spatula on a longish wand to scrape the bottom of all those bottles, tubes, and containers our fingers can’t reach. This is genius. I also bought the larger version called Beauty Spatula for bigger bottles like shampoos etc. I’ve linked with Amazon but I got mine at The Container Store where they’re actually cheaper!
Tea I’m Loving This Week
Fireside Mocha from David’s Tea I love coffee in the mornings but in the afternoons I go for tea. I’m usually an Earl Gray or English Breakfast drinker but I got a Christmas gift from a friend with an awesome mug and tea diffuser from David’s Tea, along with a holiday tin of loose leaf teas. The are YUMMY! Fireside Mocha is my favorite so far and I made a run this week to my local David’s Tea to stock up while it’s on sale. It’s seasonal apparently and will vanish until next year. Boo! If you have favorite tea suggestions, leave them in the comments!
The Van Apfel book does sound intriguing. I’m definitely going to take a closer look at it and a couple of the preview list I somehow missed. (I can get lost for ridiculous amounts of time in those lists.) Have a great weekend!

I added that book to my TBR list. Sounds so good!
Tea, I too, am a coffee drinker but when I was sickish, and Starbucks made my Medicine Ball completely wrong, I tried Coffee Bean’s Winter Dream Tea and it was amazing. It is seasonal as well but it was so delicious. https://www.amazon.com/Coffee-Bean-Tea-Leaf-Winter/dp/B009NDFEOM

That tea sounds amazing; too bad it’s seasonal! I’m a big tea drinker but have never tried their brand. I think I’m going to have to now though! Have a great weekend!

If you love tea, yes you have to try David’s Tea! I was skeptical when I first went into the store but it really does taste better than most other teas I was drinking.

Renee, I just added The Van Apfel Girls are Gone to my tbr. Thanks! It doesn’t look like it’s available for request yet.
I’m more of a coffee drinker than tea but I do love Harley & Sons Hot Cinnamon & Spice. It’s also made in decaf so I can drink it later in the day. Delicious! I haven’t heard of David’s Tea, I’ll have to check it out.

I keep checking on Edelweiss and Netgalley, I’m hoping it comes up soon! I haven’t heard of Harley & Son’s but I love anything Cinnamon so that sounds good. I drink decaf in the afternoons too otherwise I’d be up all night:)

Three sisters go missing at once in Australia? Definitely going on my TBR!
As for tea, I’m also a morning coffee/afternoon tea drinker. For some reason, some flavors always seem un-tea to me, and mocha happens to one of them, but if you like it, maybe I’ll see if I can find a sample somewhere. My go-to teas are Earl Grey, English or Irish Breakfast, Jasmine Green Tea, and Darjeeling, but I go through phases where I fall in love with something and obsess over it for a bit. Previously it was Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice, right now it’s Simply Balanced Peach Honey White Tea from Target and Tetley Focus Super Black Tea which has a lovely vanilla flavor. I guess I really like tea. 😀

I agree on the flavored tea…I really don’t care for fruity ones. I’ve always liked Earl Gray and English Breakfast as well but I’m enjoying some of these other blends I’m trying
