My favorite time of the year has arrived and I couldn’t be more excited about the incredible line up of Fall books I have to look forward to…along with Pumpkin Spice lattes, cozy sweaters and cool nights by the fire…I can’t ask for much more! Here’s a peak at some of my most anticipated Autumn reads…

When Rake’s brother-in-law, Dale, a proud Klansman, launches a scheme to rally his fellow Kluxers to save their neighborhood, their efforts spiral out of control, a man is left dead, and Rake is forced to choose between loyalty to family or the law.
The Cuban Affair Sept.19
U.S. Army combat veteran Daniel “Mac” MacCormick, now a charter boat captain is about to set sail on his most dangerous cruise. When a 10 day fishing trip to Cuba becomes a hunt for missing millions, Mac soon realizes he’ll walk away rich…or not at all
The Best Kind of People Sept. 19
A timely novel about an accusation against a beloved schoolteacher and the repercussions on his loved ones, exploring issues of loyalty, truth, and the meaning of happiness through the lens of an all-American family on the brink of collapse.
Don’t Let Go Sept. 26

OCTOBER
The Deep Dark Descending Oct. 3

Manhattan Beach Oct. 3
Set in Brooklyn during the Great Depression, this atmospheric, noir thriller explores organized crime, the merchant marine and the clash of classes in New York City…lots of buzz surrounding this one!
The Seven Days of Us Oct. 17

The Ice House Oct 20
This story follows the beleaguered MacKinnons as they weather the possible loss of the family business, a serious medical diagnosis, and the slings and arrows of familial discord. Witty and heartbreaking by turns, The Ice House is a vibrant portrait of multifaceted, exquisitely human characters that readers will not soon forget.
NOVEMBER
Artemis Nov. 14
Heist novel set on the moon. Jazz Bashara is a criminal and life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you’re not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.
Killing Pace Nov. 21
It’s been two months since Lisa Green crawled barefoot and bleeding out of a terrible car accident with three important questions: Where am I?How did I get here?and most importantly… Who am I? Her boyfriend Roland has been nursing her back to health under close watch. Lisa has amnesia. They both know that, but only Lisa knows that she hasn’t lost her ability to reason. And reason tells her that she is not Roland’s girlfriend. She is his prisoner.
DECEMBER
Anatomy of a Scandal Dec. 5
An astonishingly incisive and suspenseful novel about a scandal amongst Britain’s privileged elite and the women caught up in its wake.
I think the wide variety of books I’ve chosen should keep me on my reading toes for the next few months. Of course, I’m sure there are more that will find themselves onto my Fall tbr but for now, I better get to reading!
See anything on my preview you like? What am I missing…I’d love to hear about YOUR most anticipated reads for Fall so feel free to leave me a comment!
Definitely looking forward to Don’t Let Go by Harlan Coben and Anatomy of a Scandal. But also, A Patient Fury by Sarah Ward which is coming in a few days and the new Stuart MacBride! Can’t wait for that one!

I haven’t read Sarah Ward, will look forward to your review of that one. The Coben should be fun as his usually are and Anatomy is getting lots of buzz so I hope it’s as good as it sounds

Great list, Renee. Somehow I’d not even heard of The Ice House, but it sounds really great. My October isn’t looking too packed, so I’m going to see about adding it in. I look forward to your thoughts on The Best Kind of People and The Salt Line. Might need to add those in, too!
